MGSA High School Slowpitch - Players get to form their own teams of 13-15 players. Players without a team will be able to register as a free agent and will be placed on a team that does not have a full roster.
Girls are encouraged to hone their softball skills at a higher level of competition and intensity than they experienced in the developmental program. Games are played on Sunday afternoons at Legacy Fields against Minnetonka teams, and on Monday nights against Glen Lake and Minnetonka teams at Guilliam Fields and Legacy Fields.
Players receive a tshirt and black socks. Players must provide their own batting helmet (with mask) and softball mitt. Gym shoes are fine, plastic cleats are optional.
A season-ending in-house tournament in late June including MGSA and Glen Lake teams offers the opportunity for additional competition.
